With gas prices rising, we will likely see more bike and moped injury accidents. I have read recently in Paris that bicycle crashes are up 7% compared with a 24% increase in biker use. Its likely that as bike use increases more space will also be given to bikers by transportation officials as bikes start chipping away at the car and automobile hard drive and infrastructure.
