Oregon’s Track Record On Wrongful Deaths Involving Un-belted Drivers
Oregon’s recently new click it or ticket law appears to be working as I just ran across the 2010 stats which show that Oregon drivers came in fourth nationwide on the compliance rule requiring seat belt usage when driving.
In fact, this jives with the nationwide reduction of car crashes involving unbelted passengers since that number came up this year at 38 deaths nationwide. When compared with the 2009 results we certainly see a vast reduction since 1954 according to the transportation departments stats
